The Los Angeles Police Emerald Society Pipes & Drums was formed in 1999 and its members represent law enforcement agencies from the greater Los Angeles area. Their primary duties include civic ceremonies, parades and memorial services throughout Southern California. They have had numerous television appearances including The Closer and CSI: New York. The band’s kilts are the All-Ireland Green Tartan in honor of the rich Irish-American history in law enforcement. Scott Walton directs this group.
