Pacific American Volunteer Association (PAVA) Print

The Pacific American Volunteer Association (PAVA) is the largest environmental organization in the state of California.  It was founded in 2001 and over the years has developed chapters throughout Southern California and just this past October opened a chapter in Seoul, Korea.  PAVA’s participation in the Hollywood Christmas Parade marks the first time a Korean or Korean American organization has participated in the parade.  The parade group consists of 180 Korean American students, dressed in traditional Korean dress and costumes.  They are divided into different teams showcasing traditional dance and drum teams
