Broken Horn Ropers Print

Broken Horn RopersWorld Champion, trick roper Felix A. Lopez leads the Broken Horn Ropers, a culturally diverse, multi-generational fancy trick roping team. The team is outfitted in uniformed Western attire with custom made sterling silver saddles and matching tack. Keeping the spirit of the Old West alive, the team has been performing for ten years in fundraisers, rodeos and city and state parades. Their different breeds of horses include American Quarter Horse, Morgans, Mustangs, American Paint, Pintos, Aztecas and Palominos. Riding with the Broken Horn Ropers are Miss Stampede Days Rodeo and Mrs. California United States.

Page Williams - CA State Horseman Association Riders (Silver Group) Print

Page Williams Page Williams has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years.  She is on the Executive Board of I.A.T.S.E. Local 80 and is currently working on the television show “How I Met Your Mother.”  Page recently received a 1st Place Award in the Silver Division at the Swallows Day Parade.  She is riding her black and white paint mare named Sierra outfitted with a silver saddle.  Page is also wearing a black and white outfit to match with her horse.

US Marshall PosseThe United States Marshals Posse represents the oldest Federal Law Enforcement Agency in our nation.  The group was formed to perpetuate the western frontier marshal.  The United States Marshals Posse serve as goodwill ambassadors for the US Marshals Service and is a non-law enforcement group.

Mario's Andalusians Print

Marios AndulsiansMario’s Andalusians have been together for twelve years and have participated in many exhibitions.  Some of the horses participating have won national titles in halter.  The horses will be doing different steps such as the Spanish Walk Passage and Piaffe.  All of the riders are wearing charro outfits composed of tight pants and jacket trimmed with leather, as well as a Mexican sombrero.

Classic Curly RidersThe Classic Curly Riders have been entertaining California parade audiences since 1992. The group consists of three generations riding together on the rare and unique American Bashkir Curly horse. The horse was discovered over one hundred years ago in Nevada and yet the horse’s origin still remains a mystery. The trademark of the horse is its curly coat. During the winter the body coat grows long and curly hair, with patterns from a crushed velvet look, a perfect wave or extremely tight ringlets over the entire body.

Kathie Dunn - CA State Horseman Association Riders (Silver Group) Print

Kathie DunnKathie Dunn is riding an American Saddlebred horse. Her and her mother rescued the horse from slaughter. The horse has gone onto a storied career as an ambassador for the Saddlebred. Kathie and her horse have won multiple parade horse and side saddle championships in addition to presenting the flag at major horse shows across the country.

Realm of the Raven Friesians Print

Realm of the Raven Friesian

The Realm of the Raven Friesians are also accompanied by the Shadow Kindred.  The group’s costumes are made up of ladies in Medieval dresses, knights in armor, foot soldiers in chainmail that are guarding with Medieval weapons.  The friesian horses are also outfitted in armor.  In the last few years, the group has participated or appeared in Renaissance Faires, parades, the San Diego Polo Club and a music video for Junker Design.
