The Broken Horn Ropers, directed by Felix Lopez, is a culturally diverse, multigenerational and International Mounted Team. Felix is the World Champion Trick Roper and his wife Teresa is an accomplished rider in the Mexican Rodeo (Charreada) and American Rodeo circuit. The Broken Horn Ropers consists of 23 members and is a family affair with brothers, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces from age 5 - 70. They do many rope tricks on foot as well as on the horse. Aside from participating in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, the group attends many other parades and events throughout the year, including rodeos, school events and fund raising events for children and disability centers.

Mario’s Andalusians have been together for about thirteen years and have participated in many exhibitions. Some of the horses participating have won national titles in halter. The horses will be doing different steps such as the Spanish WalkPassage and Piaffe. All of the riders are wearing charro outfits composed of tight pants and jacket trimmed with leather, as well as a Mexican sombrero.

The United States Marshals Posse represents the oldest Federal Law Enforcement Agency in our nation. The group was formed to promote the preservation of the western frontier marshal. The United States Marshals Posse serve as goodwill ambassadors for the US Marshals Service and is a non-law enforcement group. The Posse has paraded down the streets of Hollywood several times and tonight is no exception. The men and women are riding palomino horses with black silver saddles.

Rancho La Laguna specializes in the training of horses in the art of Alta Escuela, also known as high school training. The group is wearing traditional Mexican attire of the charro rider. The horses are wearing traditional charro saddles and breast collars as well. The founder and director Elias Jimenez holds several championship titles. He has successfully trained, shown in competition and appeared in several films, along with his talented horses.

The Realm of the Raven Friesians and Majestic Acres are guarded by The Shadow Kindred. The group enjoys promoting the friesian horse (also known as the Nobel Black Pearls) as the breed was originally for royalty. The group also enjoys talking and teaching about medieval history. Their attire is medieval costumes including knights in armor. Tonight, they will be celebrating the winter solstices.

The C-Star Pleasure Riders & Company is a family and fun oriented group out of Whittier, California. All of the riders enjoy showcasing a variety of costumes and horses with residents all over Southern California. Members of the group have participated in numerous parades and garnered many first place trophies and buckles. The C-Star Pleasure Riders are proud to feature riders from the El Monte Mounted Police volunteers unit which is a community service oriented group dedicated to improving public relations with police organizations and lives of the citizens of El Monte and its sister cities.
