Kirsten Vangsness plays Penelope Garcia on the CBS drama “Criminal Minds.”  The role was originally scripted as a one episode guest starring role but part way through the season she was asked to join as a series regular. Prior to the show, Kirsten had a guest starring role on Disney’s “Phil of the Future” and a recurring role on the short lived series “LAX.”  As for film, Kirsten has been seen in “A-List,” “In My Sleep” and “Kill Me Deadly.”  Her passion for creating extends beyond acting. She is also a writer who has written various performance art pieces that have been seen throughout Southern California.
