A year ago, Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. waited for hours to audition with thousands of other people for “America’s Got Talent.” By the end of the season, Landau found himself named the winner. As part of the prize, he headlined a show at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Many people have compared Landau’s smooth vocals and prashing to that of Frank Sinatra. His first album, just released, is entitled “That’s Life” and all the songs on it are Frank Sinatra standards; however, Landau Murphy sings them his way. He has always loved music and was once the lead singer of a band, Top Shelf, which played in clubs around West Virginia.

I predicted Kevin Skinner's win from his audition two years ago, too. Anyway, saw Landau perform in his Caesar's Palace AGT show last month - and he was amazing. Can't wait to see a show with him in Vegas with just Landau. |
