Shawnee Mission Northwest Marching - Shawnee, KS

Travelling from Shawnee, Kansas is the Shawnee Mission Northwest Marching Cougar Pride. Shawnee Mission Northwest, one of five high schools in the school district, is a nationally recognized school of excellence. In addition to the Marching Cougar Pride, the band program consists of two concert bands and two jazz bands. The group has consistently received superior ratings at festivals and competitions and has more superior ratings than any other school in the Kansas City area. The band is under the direction of Penny Snead.
