I have searched and searched and no ONE video or TV show had our Peruvian Paso horse group in it! They cut us out! And we had beautiful Christmas decorations and costumes! I don't understand why they don't show the horses more! This was more of a music and celebrity show, with a little bit of a parade thrown in...

This had to be the worst coverage of the parade that I have ever seen. Why does the paade have to host a random pop concert at the city walk? It just takes away the time allowed for a thorough coverage of the parade. By addding the concert randomly into the parade each parade entry gets maybe 30-45 seconds of coverage after working so hard to participate in the parade. The parade was also edited horibly; it was not fluid at all, it was very choppy.

Every year they got it right, except this year. PLEASE SHOW MORE OF THE MARCHING BANDS. They work so hard at be part of a this parade yet we don't get to see them perform. Go to commercials during the gaps not when the bands are marching by. It would also be nice if you can show it LIVE and then "replay" the entire parade as an encore .... NOT JUST A FEW WEEKS AFTERWARDS. C'mon guys!

Just finished watching the parade on Hallmark Channel from where I DVR'ed it earlier tonight. Man it was chopped all up by the "pros" at Hallmark Channel to ensure the performers at Universal City Walk could be shown by Superman (Dean Cain) so that it all fit in a 2-hour block--performances which I fast forwarded through. For the 2012 parade can it please either be shown elsewhere or will Hallmark extend the time period to 2 1/2 hours? As someone else said, almost every time a band was shown Erik Estrada or that lady who was on would say, "Let's listen to XYZ band" and we'd get to hear maybe 45 seconds to a minute. This was nuts and the City of Los Angeles should be ashamed of the coverage after the great coverage year after year KTLA channel 5 provided LIVE when I was growing up in Orange County.

In addition, it's called the Hollywood Christmas Parade. Can Estrada or whoever next year's host(s) will be PLEASE be allowed to say, "Merry Christmas" instead of the politically correct "Happy Holidays"???? Even when the guests in the cars would say Merry Christmas he would respond with Happy Holidays. I realize California and Hollywood has gotten way more liberal than when I grew up there (and I'm only 38) but at least during a Christmas Parade people can say Merry Christmas.

WHY OH WHY is it that EVERY TIME a band appears, even if they bother to announce the band, IT GOES STRAIGHT TO COMMERCIAL OR TO YET ANOTHER PERFORMER SINGING??????? We tuned in to watch a parade! NOT to watch a "concert" or talking! Here again, another band about to march by, and off we go to yet another commercial! What good did it to for the parents and band members to work so hard to send their children to experience marching in this parade, and neither family nor friends back home can watch them perform? This is not a parade, it's a platform for wannabes and has beens to sing or dance a bit. Thanks but no thanks, we're tuning out and wont be tuning back in. :(

Would like to know why isn't the parade shown live on a regular station, like it use to be just like the Thanksgiving and Rose parade?
I remember it was always on during Thanksgiving weekend on a Sunday that was tradition and it would be nice to go back that way.

I believe the parade is Sunday November 27, 2011 this year. Last year's weather was the coldest in recent memory, even for native east-coasters. Bring your winter-wear, just in case!
