Hollywood Christmas Parade 2009 Title

We are delighted to announce that the City of Los Angeles will once again be presenting The Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 29th. Last year's parade was a great success, and the 2009 event should be even better! We look forward to your support and participation in this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade.

When title

Sunday, November 29, at 6:00 PM

Where title

From the Heart of Hollywood! Starting on Hollywood Blvd at Orange, the U-shaped parade route will travel east to Vine, south on Vine to Sunset Boulevard and west on Sunset, back to Orange.

My daughter's band, The Bunnell Marching Band from Stratford, CT, will be returning this year to march in the Hollywood Parade. This is a great way to end a fantastic season for all of the participating bands. Come on out to support the nation's High School Marching Bands. Thanks Mr. James Miller, Director Bunnell Band, for giving the kids this opportunity. See you on Sunset!

Heather Tom

Heather TomTwo-time Emmy award winning actress Heather Tom has joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Katie Logan.  Previously she played on One Life to Live and is probably best known as Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless.  In fact at age 15, she landed the role on Y&R and won her first Emmy at 16, followed by another six years later.  Heather has become the most nominated actress under the age of 35 in the Television Academy’s history.  On the stage, she made her Broadway debut in 2004 in the play Prymate.  She’ll soon be seen as Marilyn Monroe in The Secret Letters of Jackie and Marilyn.

Frank Scott Bunnell High School Marching Band - Stratford, CT

Bunnell HS BandUnder the direction of G. James Miller is the Frank Scott Bunnell High School Marching Band from Stratford, Connecticut.  This band has an impressive resume having been Connecticut State Champions for nine times.  Since 2001, this group has been to Southern California three times, including a 2005 performance at the Hollywood Christmas Parade as well as earning Grand Champions at the Bands at the Bowl competition.  Other notable events for this band are the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Citrus Bowl.
