David, I couldn't agree more. I started do Parades quite awhile ago and I'll never forget Marvelous Marv! He always made my Parade work a treat and he is sorely missed - Michele Brown

Thousands of young adults, most now grown, are better off today because of Marvin Marker. Marvin was much, much more than the band director for LBJCB. He inspired all of his LBJCB (kids) to be the absolute the best they could be. He taught us discipline, respect, and patience. I am a better person for having known "The Pied Piper of Long Beach." God rest your soul. David Smith, saxophone 1973-1974 - David Smith
